Hey guys,
Did the Just FX Basic saftey awarness pyrotechnics course a while back and was curious as to if anyone knows of a higher level of course out there?

Hi Sean,
there will be further courses soon. At the moment we're stuck waiting for the official split between T1 and T2 to be clarified.
T1 is the class of stage pyro which will be generally available. T2 will only be available to people who've done specialist training (and who have the right insurance).
As with anything involving Europe and the need to come up with standards which everyone agrees on it's all taking its time.
If you were working with pyro full time in the film industry there is the BECTU grading scheme with its associated courses. More details on that on the BECTU website.
