daniel.meakin
Hi All I'm writing a course for novice engineers, and need to get general opinions on the following question. This is primarily for live video/projection engineers, both corporate and rock and roll. If you could insist on just two skills or characteristics from a novice that you were taking on a few gigs or getting some warehouse time, what would they be? for example, a similar question posed to sound engineers came back with: An innate knowledge of signal flow and a good work ethic, everything else can be learned on the job. thanks! Pete McCrea
A good work ethic. Logical problem solving skills when faced with kit that worked together when you prep'd it, but now for some bastard reason refuses to work on site, and is possibly some combination of resolution, edid, HDCP or other reason.
