PDC Fireworks
Hoping someone can help me I'm Looking to hire about 16 Le maitre confetti cannon (the ones that use a large maroon) could anyone advise of any hire companies that may stock that amount, tried local places and places like stage electrics but 5 is the maximum so far I've found. I'm in the peterborough area but don't mind traveling or have them deliver. Also can anyone advise of the best place to buy bulk confetti about 50 Kg, looking everywhere on google and it more small wedding style confetti. cheapest I've found is about £10 per Kg many thankspaul
p.k.roberts
Not sure about that number of cannons, but for consumables, try calling the chaps at confetti magic; http://www.confettimagic.com/
gareth
I don't think you'll manage to find anywhere with that sort of quantity in stock. CO2-powered confetti distribution seems to have overtaken pyro-powered devices these days. Is that not an option?
lonemorf
Pyrojunkies, Rich and Shane there are awesome. I think they can ship to you too.
PDC Fireworks
im open to any option but the co2 units are quite expensive (well the places iv been looking) the pyro cannons I worked out about £14 for the week including a maroon whe co2 I was looking at £150 per unit plus £20 for c02. noise is not a problem as its in on a roof of a open stadium. but im open to any ideas that can throw about 2kg of confetti at a time. gareth
Another thought (and you may well have already considered this) ... but would blowers or CO2 jets give you a bit more directional control if it's in the open air? With a maroon, once it's out of the cannon it goes where it wants to go, whereas with a continuous source of propulsion you've got a flow that might be a bit more controllable. But I do appreciate your point about the cost ... the old-fashioned way would definitely be considerably cheaper!
kerry davies
This has been puzzling me. Why hire umpteen little cannon then buy fetti in bulk when a JustFX Stadium Shot or Mega Blower is a single unit solution? Now I am asking myself since when did 16 times £14 become cheaper than 1 times £150? Noise will be an issue. You can't even blow up a London bus these days without people thinking ISIS have arrived. A dozen or more large maroons going off together will make one hell of a bang and scare the pants off your audience if not the neighbours.
PDC Fireworks
do you think one mega blower will fill a 40,000 seater stadium which is about 110m x 140m. like I said im open to ideas.
