Hi there,
I am after a small 2-way VGA switch that can handle high resolutions.
We have some Analogue Way Pulse's (GREAT!) and some older Compasses which are all great but are slightly too big for some of our situations.
Seamless transitions are not a huge deal breaker as the unit will effectively be used as a crash switch.
I have heard of people experiencing problems like ghosting with the small Extron units. Has anyone found similar problems/solutions, or have any recommendations of other manufacturers?
Thanks

If its a small reliable crash switch, go for a kramer VP-211K http://www.kramerele...el.asp?pid=1346 it should handle wuxga and has the auto switch feature which is handy at times, you can also wire a remote switch to it ... they also do a pico tools version thats purely mechanical if money and size are an issue.
If moneys not an issue id actually suggest a TV one C750 dual dvi scaler. Its not "cheap" but will take 2 of any input type from video - dvi including vga, and output in any format in resolutions up to Wuxga. As its a dual scaler you have smooth fades in addition to pips etc. Its a great bit of get out of trouble kit as long as you programme it over 232 from a pc as its no fun with the buttons on the thing.

Thanks for the suggestions! The Kramer looks like just what we are after - small with fairly decent features.
Thanks again!

Thanks for both your suggestions. I went for their 4 way manual switch in the end as simplicity is the key feature we want with this one.
Cheers
