  1. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Pearce Hire have a stock of these fixtures in Peterborough.
  2. Did they give any reason for them being withdrawn / no longer permitted?
  3. Grab yourself a pocket pickle for when your running motors out, they're so useful to have! Truss hammers are always useful for when someone hides the ones you'd usually use or they've already packed them on a truck mid load out. You can't go wrong with a good set of allen keys and torx either.
  4. Just to make sure from the very start, you're not using a Sunstrip Active are you? As in the Sunstrip type that takes a DMX input and control? I'm pretty sure that there are two models of sunstrip- active and none active / just hard wired straight to a plug.
  5. Highly recommend you speak to Adlib, they're Liverpool based and will have all of that available for you! Www.adlib.co.uk
  6. That sounds quite along way from Montreal..... Ha, I didn't realise they are from Montreal, I just presumed the UK, probably because I'm used to replying to mainly UK industry posts.
  7. GLP are great, they manufacture well designed and reliable products! The X4 product line is industry standard and the S350's looked very promising when I saw them. Their JDC1 and X4 Bar 20's are on nearly every touring live music show at the moment, so that should speak volumes. Have a chat with the guys at GLP's UK office, they will most likely arrange a demo of the fixtures so you can see how you feel about them.
  8. I wouldn't agree with the "really big expensive fixtures" comment, there are quite a few mid range units on the market now. The CP Axcor 400 (600 and 900 too), Elation Artist Monet, Chauvet Maverick MK3 Profile, and products from Ayrton would all be ideal contenders for someone in the market for framing shutter units!
  9. Macs have a pan and tilt speed setting in the menu (PTSP) which is probably set to something different to the others! Thats gonna be your issue! Grab a manual and have a look. E2A Sorry, miss read your settings mention. Do a factory reset on the units then you know for sure your settings are correct.
