Bryson Posted November 13, 2017 Share Posted November 13, 2017 As on November 12th 2017, we will now be requiring that all job adverts posted in "Situations Vacant" state clearly the compensation offered. A range of salaries is acceptable, but "Depending on Experience" or "Competitive" will no longer be acceptable descriptions of the pay on offer. We believe that this rule brings significant advantages for job seekers and for advertisers. The post here: Link explains this issue in detail, but the primary reason is that not disclosing salary wastes everyone's time. With transparency in remuneration offered, advertisers get better quality applicants and applicants get to discount positions that they cannot support themselves with.
