Audio Visual Technician

We are currently seeking a highly skilled, formally qualified AV Technician with specific experience of Ableton Live and strong Mac skills to deliver a consistently high quality AV service throughout the Royal Academy of Arts.

You will have at least 2 years commercial experience as an AV Technician, with a recognised qualification in music technology or sound engineering. You will be able to design, install and support AV systems within specified budgets. The successful candidate will provide AV support to a wide range of lectures, events and presentations at the Academy, along with the preparation of files for podcasting and archiving. From time to time, you will also provide more generalist engineering support to the existing Engineering team.

You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to Health and Safety regulations preferably gained within the Arts and Heritage sector.

You will possess excellent interpersonal and IT skills with the ability to calmly solve problems quickly and effectively. You will be confident, enthusiastic and work well within a team of Engineers.
