(20°): 4,650 lux @ 2 m. ( just spotted a 90w version http://www.nightsun....?Product_ID=535 )
Whilst not a massive amount of light its a start for LED follow spots with lower power consumption. Anyone use one and got any comments as to efficiency and throw ?
Has anyone produces a comparative Photometric Chart showing different follow spot manufacturers. The one for the DTS MOON 575 at http://www.dts-light...etric_chart.pdf is very helpful.
I suppose a discussion on Lighting Mechanics http://www.mts.net/~...sld/sld-600.htm, ( PART 6 - Lighting Mechanics, by Bill Williams) may be of relevance as I suspect that what I am after is the amount of illuminance falling on the band member/actor/stage
The calculations there on illuminance refer to foot candles ( very helpfully ) so you have to convert!
