    I can't speak for magic Q but personally I use onyx and love it. For me I create most of my looks now using dylos pixel mapping which gives me some incredible looks that scale nicely depending on the rig. I'm certainly not a great lampy as most of my time is spent on sound but that's my input on the debate, very interested to hear other more experienced voices.
