Tom Posted January 23, 2017 Share Posted January 23, 2017 Hi all,We are looking to host a 2 day PPE Inspection Competent Person course on 6th / 7th February 2017. The course would run in London (Old Street / Hoxton area) however we need to make up the numbers to make this viable. The course would provide candidates with the required knowledge to carry out category three PPE inspection in accordance with the ‘competent person’ under Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulation (LOLER) and PPE regulations.This knowledge is transferable to other equipment you may come across in a day to day theatrical environment (SWR / shackles / strops etc). At present I am looking for expressions of interest. Cost will depend on the number of candidates involved. There is the possibility of a weeks paid work following this (w/c 13th February) for you to put your new knowledge to practical use.
