We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our client who are a vibrant and friendly events company based in London paying up to £30,000 depending on experience. Their team is expanding and an opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated individual with a high level of attention to detail and strong administration experience to take on the role of Project Coordinator.

 

 

The role will involve working closely with the Senior Project Manager and a range of clients primarily to manage the practical application of each project from quotation to delivery, with a particular focus on:

 

 

  • Managing the Stock Control System in order to allocate equipment to projects as efficiently as possible.
  • Taking ownership of the Health and Safety aspects in the delivery of each project, consulting the appropriate Manager when required and updating method statements.
  • Taking ownership for communicating changing requirements throughout the organisation to minimise disruption and maximise the smooth and efficient delivery of each project.

 

Other responsibilities include:

 

 

  • Produce production schedules and equipment list for crew along with preparation of quotations to clients ensuring equipment requirements are correctly identified.
  • Accurately recording information onto The Stock Control System.
  • Invoicing and working with all relevant staff members to ensure additional equipment and/or services are included or invoiced separately.
  • Liaise with the Project Managers re preparation of Hire Agreements and to sending agreements to clients.
  • Use the Stock Control System to monitor stock levels and allocate equipment to jobs

 

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

 

 

  • Proven experience within the lighting and entertainment industry.
  • Commercial and forward thinking mind-set.
  • Professional and customer focused attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • High level of organisation and flexibility.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership.
  • Experience within an office based environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with a Stock Management System, such as Hire track.
  • Working knowledge of Autocad with the ability to read and interpret plots and equipment specs
