  1. I was just saying this is quite an unusual thing to do, as modules are normally made for one particular control manufacturer. Personally I prefer the Novastar system over Linsn, its been a lot more reliable and rugged in my experience.
  2. In that case, I think your earlier hypothesis is probably correct and that the panels have lost their settings and are currently unsupported by the Novastar software. It may be worth taking a look on rcg-rcfg.com, as they have quite an extensive library of RCFG files that are freely available and may have a user created Novastar file that is compatible with your panel IC's I must admit, this is the first time I've heard of somebody trying to convert a Linsn panel to Novastar!
  3. Do you know which IC the panels are using? You probably need to flash the receiver cards with the correct RCFG file (the file that tells the receiver card which IC is driving the LED's and how to talk to it) Failing that, is there any manufacturers information or model numbers on the panels themselves?
  4. I remember speaking to a friend about this some time ago as he had the same issue, re-authorising his USB dongle with Cast seemed to solve it. Here's the official reauthorisation guide: Link Of course, this relies on it being a legitimate copy of wysiwyg, and not one of the illegal "cracked" versions available online or sold on several well known online marketplaces! Which we do not condone here at all.
  5. I've looked into these for an install, after speaking to the guys at Highlite I was told that its actually part of their in house "Infinity" brand that was developed with input from RJ. So its not technically an RJ product, but in a way it is. I wasn't overwhelmed by the demo unit I saw ( the TS 260C7 iirc) whilst the output was decent for the price - the colour rendering was noticeably off when compared side by side to a series 2 lustr+ I managed to persuade my client to splash out on the Lustrs, but if you're on a budget then they do the job.
  6. It might be worth giving the guys over at Ancient Lights a call, this sounds like something they would be able to help you with! Their website is www.ancientlights.tv (I am in no way affiliated with them, just someone who has had equipment from them a few times!)
  7. There were some that had DMX on a 6.35mm jack too. Surprisingly some of the Astera wireless transmitters take their DMX in via a 3.5mm jack, which is very annoying when someone loses the adapter!
  8. I would suggest starting by addressing one of the units to 001 and then patching 20 dimmer channels into magicQ, then bringing the level of each channel up one at a time (whilst making a note of what it does) once you've got a list of what each channel does, put it into something like https://onyxfixturefinder.com and it will give you a list of manufacturers and models that match that channel assignment (chances are there's something out there already built), then just patch one of the suggested models into magicQ and it should work.
  9. Fantastic! Keep up the great work!
  10. A very handy little tool! Used it on a job site today to test OSC Control in Medialon! It worked like a charm! Thanks! I'll be adding this to my E-Toolbox!
