gyro_gearloose
I've created a lighting effect which uses infra red LEDs. I want to make a promotional video using the effect, but I have a slight problem. Obviously the IR LEDs are invisible to the naked eye, but a lot of cameras are sensitive to IR and it will give the game away if you can see the LEDs in the video. Anyway, how do I filter out infra red so that the camera can't see it without having to stand a fish tank full of water in front of the lens? :) I don't have a video camera at the moment, so if there are any cameras which filter out IR by themselves then so much the better. paulears
Hoya make them for cameras that don't have the UV blocking filter - most do because as Sony found out, seeing through clothes with their cameras got the wrong kind of publicity. hoya link
Jivemaster
http://srb-photographic.co.uk/ has been my go to for odd camera bits, ring them and ask. Wratten was the Kodak brand of good filters for all purposes, DK whether they are still there and whether SRB might have them or an equavelent.
