jonathanhill
+1 for Le Mark, although I go for their own brand LX tape as it is cheaper than AT7, and just used to tape cables to bars. I also buy Le Mark MagTape Extra in Matt.

Stuart91
We have been very happy with LeMark. I especially like their narrower tapes for taping coils of mic leads etc. Far easier to separate than the full width stuff.
kgallen
Advance AT7 for LX tape - use if for everything, even my non-theatre work, love it. Pretty inexpensive, strong, range of colours and tears nicely even when you don't have "nice"/"any" finger nails. I use reels of the stuff. Advance AT202 gaffa. Tears nicely. Tough. Non-stretchy. Great adhesive. Never touch the "budget" stuff. Did once, won't again, horrible! Certainly never use "Duct/Duck" tape (as in the expensive branded ones) from the likes of Screwfix - absolutely horrible stuff! Advance gaffa every time for me! Both from Stage Electrics. Certainly don't find the gaffa cheaper elsewhere and the LX tape is so cheap I've never looked.
KCLeblanc
AT7 for me, because I'm disorganised I usually buy over the counter from a company just down the road from me. I normally pay £1.50 a roll.
