Just hope y'all will come on our stand at PLASA and take a look at the new Compulite range of affordable consoles, 3 in total, with manual faders, touch screen, trackball, etc.

Can't say how it will compare to the Frog 2 as I haven't seen a spec., but please drop by stand E40 for a look and a cold beer!

And whilst we're on the subject of new lighting desks and limitations, please don't forget to drop in to see our new MagicQ consoles and MagicQ PC wing at PLASA.

We're on stand KK24 upstairs next to the relaxation zone.

MagicQ supports 6 universes, up to 3072 fixtures, has a 12 inch touch screen, electronic legending, and all consoles run exactly the same software.

See you there!

I've created this thread to serve a specific purpose. Manufacturers who are releasing new products at PLASA may make one post stating their new products being released, and their stand number. Any discussion of new products should take place in their own threads, such as this one about the Frog2. Links to manufacturers websites are allowed, but posting photographs isn't.

If any companies have any queries about this topic, feel free to PM me.

Whilst we are not showing a new product, I thought it might interest you, that as always, Bandit Lites will have the 'Six Lamp Bar' in our usual spot at PLASA. All Blue Roomers are very welcome to drop by, introduce yourselves, and enjoy a pint or two (or three!) with our compliments.

See you there.

Regards,

A.C. Lighting launch new products at PLASA

A.C. Lighting are set for another exciting show at this year’s PLASA exhibition, where several major product launches and new distribution lines will be unveiled on the stand.

Two new lighting products on the stand receive their official trade show launch at PLASA and set new benchmarks in their fields of LED and lighting console design.

The Chroma-Q Color Block DB4 LED fixture features a modular design, comprehensive range of fixing options and advanced effects engine, which together allow users to easily create a powerful and versatile LED system using stock of just one generic fixture type. The product will be shown its many configurations and fixing options.

Also launching this year from Chroma-Q is the 4Play - a fault tolerant, self healing 4 way DMX buffer designed to fully isolate all outputs from each other. Supplied with 4 x 5 pin connectors, each output is separately generated and boosted from the original DMX signal

The Jands Vista gets its official European tradeshow launch at PLASA 2004 after attracting much interest in concept form at last year’s show. Following its project debut on the high profile MINI Convertible launch at Motor Show Live!, A.C. will be displaying the production models of both chassis sizes - the dual programming & playback modes T4 and single programming & playback modes T2.

The A.C. technical team will be providing regular demonstrations of the console’s innovative features throughout the show – including the powerful Generic Fixture Model, Timeline functions and how to build lighting designs and control all design parameters using the Vista’s unique pen and large colour screen interface.

A.C. lighting console specialists Neil Vann and newly appointed Lee House will be on hand to answer questions about the Jands range as well as demonstrate MA Lighting’s full size grandMA console and WYSIWYG control software.

Following the company’s recent appointment as a UK dealer for Funktion-One, A.C.’s Audio division will be showing the incredible ‘Resolution 2’ loudspeaker system - an exciting new addition to the pro audio range. The speakers will be demonstrated together with MC2 E Series amplifiers and XTA speaker management systems. Combined, these products give unparalleled audio excellence.

A.C. digital audio specialist Alex Hadjigeorgiou will also be on hand to demonstrate the Yamaha DM1000 digital audio production console. The compact DM1000 takes digital audio desks to a new level and has recently been supplied by A.C. to a number of different entertainment venues/installation companies.
