Pattern 23N

A narrow version of the Pattern 23 made by Strand Lighting - basically just a larger lens that could be swapped with the usual one. This was also available as a custom narrow angle version.

There were two very different versions of the Pattern 23N. The original had a conical lense tube, and the later version had a cylindrical lense tube. They were often used as small follow spots with a drop in iris diaphragm

The original version had a detachable lense tube, but the later version had the narrow angle tube fitted as a permanent feature. It was later recycled as the Patt. 823 narrow angle profile with halogen 650W lamp.
